1. When you register be sure to choose a drop off time. If you are also volunteering check volunteer drop off, regardless of the day or time you are volunteering.
2. Wait for a reply from [email protected] with your confirmation and seller number. If you do not get an email you are not registered. If you have sold with us previously you still must register again this year. Please allow 48 hours for a response email.
3. Make certain all items are relatively clean, intact, not missing any non-replaceable pieces, and in working order. Scroll down for lists of acceptable and unacceptable items.
4. Print out pricing tags on cardstock. (Clicking the red words will take you there). Do NOT use regular paper, it rips off too easily.
5. Fill out book tags using assigned seller #. Seller number and price must be on the top and the bottom of the tag. Note any observed flaws in item description. i.e.: some highlighting, small water stain on a few pages, etc. (price accordingly). Do not include severely worn books or materials. Do NOT cut your tags in half. This is done when the item is sold.
6. All sales tags must have a table code. Click "Tagging Instructions" in the drop down menu under seller instructions for details.
7. Price your item at what you'd be willing to pay for it. Be aware of whether newer editions are available or other issues which might affect demand for the item. Please price in .25 cent increments only. For example - $1.50, $1.75, etc. If not in .25 cent increments prices will be rounded down. Example: $1.99 will be charged $1.75.
8. If selling grouped items such as full curricula: Package creatively in a manner that will allow items to be seen (if possible), but not get lost. Make a list of included items and also note whatever might be missing to complete the package. Tape on an extra piece of paper with this description. Remember to attach this securely, but in a way that will not damage the books. Rubber bands are not a good option for holding several thick items together. Extra large ziplock bags work well, tape the top closed.
9. Use only masking or painters tape to attach tags. No packing tape! Securely attach at top and bottom of tag, do NOT put tape on sides of the tags. Try to leave titles and descriptions uncovered.
10. Remember: Items tagged as usual will be sold at 1/2 price on Wednesday. Any items you do not want to sell at 1/2 price should have an NR after the price, in BOTH places (top and bottom of tag). Both places must also be highlighted in yellow. If you use colored tags please change the tags on the items to WHITE card stock and highlight the prices with a neon yellow highlighter. Please do not use yellow pencil, crayon, non-highlighter marker or any other color. Any items not highlighted, even with an NR on the tag, may be sold at half price. Any items highlighted without an NR may be sold at half price. It is YOUR responsibility to make sure all items are marked correctly.
11.Please put any NR items at the top of your box or in a separate box as we may ask to check them.
12. If selling games or manipulatives please check http://www.wemakeitsafer.com/ to make certain nothing has been recalled.
